Isle Community Bus
A new service will be introduced into the Isle of Axholme in May 2001 thanks to funds donated by the Isle of Axholme Lions Club.
In conjunction with the Rural Transport Partnership (which is funded by the Countryside Agency) a bus has been provided for North Lincolnshire Rural Community Transport to operate in the Isle of Axholme.
This is to provide transport with voluntary, trained drivers, for people who have mobility problems due to age infirmity or rural isolation. All at a very reasonable cost.
The bus is now in constant use throughout the Isle and is available

Volunteer Drivers are also required - full training is provided
