What do Lions do?
The activities of all Lions Clubs are varied but have two things in common - raise money and lend a hand to needy causes and have fun doing it together.
The Isle Lions are no different - here is a list of a few of the things we have been involved in over the last 12 months and what plans we have:
December 2004 - Dust of our walking boots and help Santa on his Sleigh all over the Isle - programme will be announced in due course
November 2004 - A further visit to the Netherlands is being planned to our twin club in Hellevoetsluis
June 2004 - A swinging Golf Day that raises nearly £1,500
May 2004 - Vice President John Smedley goes to Nepal to help out at a Deaf School with backing from Isle Lions and others
Easter 2004 - A busy Easter raising funds to help people on the Isle and further afield
December 2003 - Santa helps to put another £5,000 in our coffers - all for the Isle
April 2001 - Take delivery of a New Community Bus in partnership with North Lincolnshire Rural Community Transport
Easter 2001 - A busy Easter raising funds to pay for a Community Bus on the Isle
